V.O.R.P.A.L Sword

[edit] Description
The Vitriol Oleic Release-Perforation Acidic Long Sword, or V.O.R.P.A.L. Sword for short, was created by KDG Industries as a special contract from Triton. Originally, the weapon was designed for use by actors in a production of Through the Looking Glass, allowing the easy severing of the newly created Jabberwock’s head-appendage. Through a series of micro-perforations along the blade, the wielder of this bastard sword can release an acidic compound contained within the hilt into the victim (see special below). Due to the isolation of DGK Industries’ compound, this weapon is rarely found on the open market, but can be special-ordered on the nets, along with other variants, such as axes and spears.

When released into the neck of a Jabberwock, the acid reacts with a compound created by the creature, causing the neck to sunder in a fantastic flash of light and heat, temporarily stunning the beast. Scientists are currently working on other compounds that these weapons could contain.
